Job Description
We have been engaged by a family owned and operated
OEM of food processing equipment
to find a
Regional Sales Manager
for the NE.
The territory spans from NC to Maine and Pennsylvania. Candidates must be able to be self disciplined and work remotely traveling as needed throughout the territory. Minimum 50% travel.
This company is a long standing staple in the industry manufacturing equipment for the protein industry for over 100 years!! Talk about stability and they way they treat their people shows in their low turnover rates.
Candidates will be responsible for growing existing business and developing new business by selling equipment like grinders, chippers, meat saws, tumblers and marinating equipment.
Soft skills in organization and territory management, And hard skills in business development desired and winning background of successful sales of food process equipment needed.
Position has healthy base salary with uncapped commissions and come with company car, credit card, phone and computer. Additionally this company has impressive 401k with 7% match and a PENSION!!!
Also all health insurance premiums are 100% paid by the company! Think of having all that extra money every year!
To be considered for this role you must have the following Previous sales experience in meat, grocery or food process equipment Strong machinery background Travel 50% sometimes more Live in assigned territory 2 years experience working with distributors and distribution channels.
