SALARY RANGE
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 Annually $2,115.38 - $2,307.69 Bi-weekly
The Work You Will Do
Serves as MFMP Administrator to evaluate and process purchase requests for commodities and contractual services for the agency using appropriate purchasing methods in accordance with laws, rules, policies, and procedures contained in the state of Florida's Purchasing Policy and applicable to the agencies operating procedures Reviews purchases to identify problem areas impeding timely completion of requisition/purchase order process. Implements and conducts training programs and workshops for Agency purchasing staff to ensure staff can perform multiple purchasing functions.Compiles reports regarding agency spending of goods and services for both management, legislative and public record requests on an as needed basis using various systems; complies quarterly reports providing detailed analyses of agency spend on goods and services and makes recommendations for enhancements and cost savings.Serves as administrative lead on Alternate Contract Source, and Equote request by developing and administering the posting of the solicitations to include the review of responses for acceptability. Ensures solicitations are executed within parameters of established rules, regulations, policies and laws.Serves as backup for formal and informal solicitation to include, but not be limited to: developing and managing the drafting of complex technical specifications, performance requirements and evaluation methodologies, administering the posting of formal competitive solicitations, single sources and other notices, review responses for acceptability, ensure solicitation are executed within parameters of established rules, regulations, policies and laws.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
A High School Diploma, or its equivalent.Two (2) or more years of public procurement experience in Florida.Knowledge of State of Florida purchasing statutes and rules.At least two (2) or more years of experience with MyFloridaMarketPlace, the State of Florida's eProcurement system.At least two (2) or more years of experience processing and approving purchase requisitions in MyFloridaMarketPlace.Experience utilizing State of Florida state term contracts and alternate contract source.Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of:
State of Florida purchasing statutes and rules.Ability to:
Think critically.Work independently and in a group.Collect, evaluate, and analyze data.Understand and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and other authorities as applicable.Timely complete work assignments.Communicate effectively (orally and written).Effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.Create job aids, tools, and other materials and train and assist employees in the use of new forms, reports, and procedures.Demonstrate Skills in:
