Job Title: Commercial Building Automation Controls Project Manager
Location: Montclair, CA

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Building Automation Controls Project Manager to join our team and help us drive the successful completion of our projects.
Job Summary: As the Commercial Building Automation Controls Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire lifecycle of our building automation control projects, from initial planning and design to installation and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems, project management, and excellent communication skills. Your primary focus will be on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all project objectives are met.Coordinate and manage all aspects of building automation control projects, including design, installation, programming, commissioning, and documentation.Collaborate with sales, engineering, and other departments to ensure a seamless transition from project conception to completion.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner.Monitor and manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to ensure project success.Ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with company standards, industry best practices, and applicable codes and regulations.Manage project resources, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure timely delivery and high-quality workmanship.Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within project execution.Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation systems, with a focus on commercial building controls.At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the building automation or HVAC industry.Comprehensive knowledge of building automation control systems, technologies, and industry best practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software tools.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.Relevant industry certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), are a plus.
