The role is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to employees and managers on People policies, procedures, and employee relations issues. The People Business Partner is a first line of support to the business unit managers and employees.What you will be responsible for:Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on People related inquiries.Provide guidance on resolving employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.Support the investigation of complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.Ensure employees and managers understand and adhere to People policies and procedures.Offer advice on the application of policies, ensuring fairness and consistency.Maintain accurate employee records in People systems (UKG), ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.Support managers in conducting performance reviews, providing guidance on best practices and managing underperformance.Assist with the implementation of performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.Advise employees on compensation and benefits inquiries.Monitor employee absences, including sickness, maternity/paternity leave, and annual leave.Provide guidance on leave entitlements and ensure accurate record-keeping.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years’ experience in a generalist role.Understanding of People policies, employment law, and People best practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical People solutions.High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.What we offer you:Outstanding Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage to meet all your healthcare needs.Wellness benefits to help you focus on what’s most important.“Take What You Need” time off policy.Extensive development and training offerings to help you grow your career at Veracode.Generous 401k match to help save for your future.Amazing community of professionals who take pride in what we do every day.Compensation TransparencyIn accordance with U.S. pay transparency laws, Veracode provides compensation transparency for roles based in the United States.
