For the past 40 years, they have been servicing a broad range of clients including multinational corporations, school districts, public agencies, counties and cities, and businesses and individuals. Their practice areas include business litigation, employment law, construction law, eminent domain, estate planning & probate, environmental land use & development, and real estate.Currently, they are looking to add an Attorney with some experience in employment defense who can work a hybrid schedule out of their office in Los Angeles.Responsibilities:
Represent clients in eminent domain proceedings, including negotiations, litigation, and appeals.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of complex legal issues related to employment law.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of employment law.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of eminent domain cases.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring client satisfaction.Stay updated on the latest developments in employment law and participate in ongoing professional development activities.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to CA bar and in good standing.5+ years of experience as an Employment Law Attorney or in a similar role.Extensive experience in employment defense litigation.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex legal issues effectively.Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft and review legal documents accurately and efficiently.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
