We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Benefits Manager
for one of our clients in the IT Services and IT Consulting sector to lead and oversee all aspects of employee benefits, wellness initiatives, compliance, and recognition programs. This role will involve working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to implement the organization's HR strategy, ensuring that the benefits programs align with business goals and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits management and compliance, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.

Core Duties:
Manage the full range of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, 401(k), Deferred Compensation, and wellness initiatives.Ensure the smooth administration of medical claims and day-to-day benefits operations.Oversee legal compliance and the administration of FMLA, STD, and LTD, ensuring adherence to regulations.Lead the selection and management of benefits vendors and negotiate cost-effective plans that meet organizational needs.Collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources to integrate benefits programs during mergers and acquisitions.Develop and lead employee recognition programs that enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.Regularly review and update the Employee Handbook to ensure all policies are current and legally compliant.Serve as a backup to the Senior HR Specialist, offering support in HR-related tasks as needed.What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in HR, with a focus on benefits management and legal compliance.Proficiency in benefits procurement, reporting, and employee relations.Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employee benefits laws.Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Passion for supporting a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive workplace.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and guide others.Strong decision-making abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset.Experience in managing benefits during mergers and acquisitions.Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Willingness to travel occasionally for overnight work.
