Biology, Master of Biotech through Extended LearningCourse DescriptionExposes students to the needs of participating in today’s global life science enterprise, including the interconnection between local and global processes. Addresses the need for understanding cultures and practices of other countries that impact essential relations, behavior, strategies, values, and attitudes to negotiate and conduct international relations.Minimum Qualifications:A Master of Science and experience teaching, or equivalent practical experience in the Life Sciences using a variety of instrumentation, tools, and technologies.Communication and Presentation Skills.Course Design (ability to design a well-structured syllabus, select appropriate course materials, and incorporate fundamental tools and techniques used to study protein structure and function).Continuous Learning and Adaptability (commitment to staying updated with the latest research techniques and developments).Hands-on Experience with Relevant Tools: Proficiency in specific instrumentation and technologies used in modern life sciences, such as microscopy (e.g., confocal, fluorescence), flow cytometry, sequencing platforms, mass spectrometry, or CRISPR and gene editing technologies.Broad Knowledge of Laboratory Techniques: Familiarity with a range of experimental techniques, data analysis software, and computational tools used in life sciences research, including experience in handling and troubleshooting advanced lab equipment.Preferred Qualifications:A doctorate in Molecular Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field or equivalent and/or equivalent industry experience.Experience teaching or mentoring students/employees in topics related to tools, technologies, and instrumentation used in the biomedical and life sciences.Theoretical knowledge and practical skills for working with modern instrumentation, tools, and technologies in life sciences research, diagnostics, and clinical settings.Strong research record. Proven expertise through publications, patents, or presentations in relevant areas of life sciences that utilize advanced instrumentation and technologies.Experience teaching at the graduate level, either as a course instructor or teaching assistant, especially in topics related to laboratory instrumentation, methodologies, or life sciences.Ability to Develop Hands-On and Practical Modules. Skill in creating lab or practical sessions that allow students to directly interact with and apply the tools and technologies in real or simulated environments.Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.Salary:
