is recruiting for the following opportunity:Patent Attorney or Patent Agent opportunity within a booming practice. The primary focus will pertain to the preparation and prosecution of patents for U.S. and international clients, however, there will also be the opportunity for other related patent work (e.g., patentability and freedom to operate opinions, patent portfolio strategy, competitive landscape assessments, acquisition due diligence, PTAB issues, etc.).This practice has an impressive roster of high-tech clients and the emphasis is on providing quality work product relating to important, valuable patent families. Here, you will need to have excellent client communication skills, since you will have substantial client contact and portfolio responsibility. A passion for delving deep into complex state of the art technologies is a must.Related Technology Areas:
physics, optics, physical chemistry, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, digital imaging systems, optical engineering, photonics, electronic test and measurement equipment, electrical instrumentation, lasers, thin films, semiconductors, materials engineering, manufacturing and process engineering, industrial controls, diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, electrical engineering, feedback control systems, industrial automation, machine learning, AI, microelectronics, spectroscopy, laser deposition, interferometry, magnetic resonance imaging.Patent Agent Requirements:
At least 4 years of solid patent drafting and prosecution experience.Minimum BS in Physics, Engineering (e.g., Materials, Optical, Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Physical Chemistry Engineering, with an advanced degree being a plus.USPTO license.Excellent writing samples.Stable work history.Patent Attorney Requirements:
At least 4 years of solid patent drafting and prosecution experience.Minimum BS in Physics, Engineering (e.g., Materials, Optical, Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Physical Chemistry Engineering, with an advanced degree being a plus.USPTO license and CA State Bar.Excellent writing samples.Stable work history.Additional Notes for Candidates:
