is recruiting for the following opportunity:This is a strong partner track patent attorney opportunity within a steadily growing practice. The work will primarily relate to drafting and globally prosecuting patents, portfolio strategy, and patent opinions (e.g., infringement, validity, freedom to operate, patentability). There will also be the opportunity to work on a variety of other related issues (e.g., due diligence, valuations, IP agreements, etc.).This practice consistently attracts excellent technology clients expecting high quality patent work. Here, you will have plenty of interaction with client and firm management within a friendly and cooperative environment that contributes to the overall growth of well-rounded practitioners.This practice encompasses a wide range of technologies from a diverse array of clients. Client and portfolio assignments are aligned with your particular technical expertise and experience.Example Technologies:
Electrical: industrial and consumer electronics, control systems, analog and digital circuits; chip architecture, wireless telecommunications, network security and protocols, RFSoftware: enterprise applications, databases, web services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer scienceMechanical & Physics: electromechanical devices, mechanical engineering, physics, optical engineering, robotics, manufacturing equipment and processes, imaging systems, biomedical systems engineering, biomedical devices, industrial automation, test and measurement equipmentChemicals & Materials: industrial chemistry, chemical engineering, biomaterials, materials engineeringPatent Associate Requirements:
Minimum BS engineering (electrical, computer, mechanical, chemical), physics, or computer scienceJD, state bar, USPTO registrationAt least 2 years of solid patent drafting and prosecution experienceSolid academic credentialsExcellent writing samplesPatent Agent Requirements:
