Member Consultants are the heart and soul of WSECU. Our Mobile Member Consultants travel between our branches fulfilling the needs of the team for the day. Every day, no matter where you're working, you'll dig deep to listen to what our members need and you go out of your way to make their banking not only easy, but downright pleasant! As a Mobile Member Consultant, you are the go-to, one-stop shop for our members. You will accomplish this by being knowledgeable, empathetic and eager to help! WSECU is a Co-Op with an all-volunteer board-we are truly accountable to our members, but we could not do it without you. Ready to learn more?Your day might include:Performing all branch and consumer lending, opening new accounts, and providing teller servicesTraveling to various branches throughout Pierce County with the flexibility of statewide travel with short noticeOccasional support to other departments and lines of business as neededStriving for and hitting your sales and service goals, while keeping the member's best interest front and centerContributing to your team's successes and celebrating along the wayBuilding and nurturing strong relationships with your membersUnderstanding your members' journey, offering products and services to meet their unique needsContributing to team success in a variety of work environmentsShowing empathy and lending a hand where your team members and teammates need it most. Ability
to travel statewide on short noticeMinimum of two (2) years of customer service or retail experienceTwo years of experience in a financial institution or retail/service-related positionExcellent interpersonal communication skills, including effective listening, speaking, and writingTalent for presenting and explaining complex products and servicesIntermediate or greater proficiency with Microsoft applications; ability to master WSECU computer operating systemsAbility to maintain privacy and confidentialityMust be willing to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and maintain and renew the registration annuallyHold or willing to obtain notary licensePersonal car travel, reliable transportationBonus points if you have:Credit Union experience and understanding of financial regulationsSales and customer service trainingExperience with lending, new accounts, or a combination of bothCompetitive pay:
$23.54 - $35.30 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits packageThe target starting pay for this position is $23.54 - $29.41 per hour,
typically within the
first half of the range . Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.Where we're located:
Primarily in Pierce County with flexibility to travel statewide. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is an in-branch position.When you'd work:
Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 5:45pm, full time minimum 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility required meeting business needsPerks:
