Assurant has an excellent opportunity for a growing team in Manufactured Housing!As the Director of Sales Enablement and Strategic Initiatives, you will have a unique opportunity to develop our Account Executive talent and drive strategic initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in integrating key Assurant strategies in the Manufactured Housing (MH) Division, ensuring the successful execution of our multi-year sales plan. You will work closely with cross-functional support teams, Sales, Product, Account Executives, and Senior leadership to drive annual goals and strategic innovation.As the Director of Sales Enablement and Strategic Initiatives, you will be crucial in driving revenue and delivering on strategy for emerging opportunity clients/programs. Your implementation of best practices and management of strategic client relationships will directly impact our sales performance and efficiencies, maximizing results. You will also provide continuous feedback and recommendations, which will be instrumental in shaping our business strategies and ensuring our clients' success and growth.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Occupy a highly visible position driving strategic business, sales, and client initiativesDrive organizational initiatives that result in clients' success and growth for the businessSupport team by providing direction and strategy for emerging opportunitiesActively coach and develop team membersWork with all functions and all levels, including the senior leadership teamLead multiple projects that require quantitative and qualitative analysis, problem framing, overall strategy formulation, and informal advisory on crucial business issues/initiativesProject manage key work-streams, often in collaboration with the functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, Product, Account Executive, and Sales), representing the Business Strategy point-of-view and providing and managing analytical support as appropriateConsult and execute plans for achieving or exceeding program goalsDevelop and enhance Assurant's relationship with our clients at management at various levelsCommunicate program results and plans for marketing efforts to clients and Assurant managementEffectively manage and prioritize opportunities for optimal support for assigned clientsSummarize activities for ROI purposes and track the performance related to those activitiesEnsure travel budget adherence and control expensesAssist in driving strategic planning and client business reviewsWhat are the requirements needed for this position?Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 7 years in a B2B or B2C client-facing roleA minimum of 7 years of experience working in a management or leadership capacityExperienced with managing competing prioritiesWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Previous experience with Salesforce is highly desiredProperty and Casualty insurance is a plusExperienced engage leadership and communicate effectively, even under stressAbility to receive feedback well, constructive criticism, and directionProficient user of Microsoft Office programsExperience in AGILE methodology approachStrong analytical skills - able to analyze program results, create a plan for improving sales results, and executionStrong presentation and public speaking skillsAdvanced knowledge of sales and training techniques, client service, account development, multimedia presentation, graphics, and marketing standardsAbility to work in a challenging environment, meeting tight deadlines while multitaskingAbility to influence internal and external clients by positioning client-specific value propositions related to increasing sales or making program changesHow much should I expect to travel?Up to 20%Pay Range:$116,900.00 - $195,300.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.Expected application deadline is08/07/2024If date is blank then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.Helping People Thrive in a Connected WorldConnect with us.
