The IS Clinical Applications Training & Support Team is looking for a skilled professional with pharmacy experience and a passion for end-user training to join their team. If this describes you, St. Jude has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Applications Principal Trainer (PT) position.
As a Clinical Applications Principal Trainer I, you will become part of an energetic and highly skilled team focused on the successful training and support of St. Judes Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Willow (pharmacy) training materials and environments for key clinical applications such as Epic.
Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with application analysts and fellow Principal Trainers to ensure effective training and support for end-users. The ability to quickly adapt to change and embrace new challenges will be essential for success in this role.
If you're ready to contribute to the mission of St. Jude and make a meaningful impact on clinical application training, we encourage you to apply!Job Responsibilities:Participate in meetings with business teams to elicit and understand business/process requirementsConduct analyses to report emerging business needs; escalate problems when required.Support resolution of needs and requests of business teams within area, in coordination with other IT teams.Independently conduct activities related to assigned area (including documentation, communication with business teams) around enterprise IT platforms/services.Assist in optimization of standardized/pre-described business requirement gathering support processes in assigned area.Periodically present results to team in project meetings.Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.Maintains regular and predictable attendance.Minimum Education and/or Training:Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field required.Master's degree preferred.Minimum Experience:Experience in healthcare IT, clinical operations, patient care, or related fields is highly preferred.Epic Willow EHR, principal trainer, or other related training experience is desired, but not required.Some experience and/or understanding of structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.Some experience and/or understanding of identifying and documenting business IT problem statements, application support, business process design and/or technical documentation preferred.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by SJCRH Only:Epic Curriculum and Training Environment Build certifications are required within five (5) months after start date.Epic Application Build Certification preferred.Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Shows basic awareness of business analysis tools, requirement definition templates, tools, and processes.Is able to support requirement gathering and documentation.Provides operational/ coordination support for business, system, and process analysis.CompensationIn recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $65,520 - $114,400 per year for the role of Clinical Applications Principal Trainer I.
