Job Description
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and monthly closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.Collaborate closely with project managers, monitoring budgets, analyzing variances, and implementing cost control measures to keep projects on track financially.Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for projects and company operations, providing clear insights to senior leadership.Manage cash flow needs to support projects, maintain liquidity, and oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payment and collections.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, establish internal controls, and prepare for audits as necessary.Lead the finance team and coordinate with project and leadership teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and contributing to financial strategy discussions.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a background in construction or project-based financial management highly desirable.Strong understanding of construction financials, including job costing, contract management, and budgeting.Proficiency in financial software and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint), along with advanced skills in Excel.What's on Offer
