Job Title: NOC Analyst I
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated NOC Analyst I to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform network monitoring of the Segra SONET, DWDM, IP, and Ethernet networks, providing in-depth support for Segra Networks Transport, IP, Ethernet Networks, and voice services.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first line of defense for monitoring and managing all Segra core, distribution, carrier last mile, and customer premise voice and data installations.Research and document various mitigation strategies.Maintain current knowledge of deployed technologies and their significance to network operations and customer support.Prioritize remediation of issues in a 24x7 network operations center.Perform basic system administration tasks such as network/system troubleshooting, patching, and utilizing scripts to automate repeatable tasks.Act as an escalation point for other organizations.Preferred Qualifications:
Some experience in a NOC or monitoring environment is preferred but not required.Additional Information:
Availability for 24x7 shifts is required, with shifts subject to change based on business needs.If you have any questions, please let us know.
