Job Summary
The
Sales and Education Coordinator
is directly responsible for achieving the planned retail sales goal in assigned doors through development of in-store teams, forming relationships with retailer management and staff, monitoring stock levels, and execution of special events. Principal Accountabilities • Be in store 5 days a week: selling by example for all Beauty Advisors and freelancers; demo the product and teach how to build and close sales. • Train store staff on Tata Harper products and protocols. • Distribute and train applicable pocket decks to all sellers. • Support retail stores' growth within a territory by maintaining an appropriate and consistent call cycle for assigned stores. • Communicate needs, results, and ideas regularly with AE & Director of Sales. • Know your numbers (Sales Report) and what is needed for the week. • Have a schedule that is approved by your AE &Director of Sales and a plan on what is needed to accomplish the regions goals. • Recruit, vet and manage freelance in assigned market. This includes coordinating their training and ensuring they are following the Tata Harper Skincare protocols. • Plan travel for upcoming weeks. (only when applicable) • Review numbers, sell through, and out of stock lists and communicate needs to the coordinating store management. • Fill out needed grids from Wholesale Operations. • Submit weekly recap form to AE & Director of Sales (e.g. wins, challenges, and opportunities and total volume). • Attend weekly Sales Call every Wednesday at 12pm EST via Zoom. • Successfully implement all in store merchandising programs; ensure the consistent implementation of merchandising guidelines and uphold counter image, identity, and hygiene in accordance with Tata Harper standards. Submitting counter photos when new merchandising guidelines are launched. • Provide comprehensive training and motivation of both inter-sell and store staff of all products and promotions as needed. • Responsible for the setup, coordination, and execution of all in store events; supervision of all freelancers; negotiate event setup with department or store manager; establish goals. Track pre-sell and performance for each event. • Connect with the Global Education Director and explore Learn Worlds Education platform on training needs, ideas, and questions. • Expense Reports • Partner with store management to achieve targets, resolve issues and maintain positive relations. • Achieving Goals Key Experience and Skills (Qualification and Experience) Retail beauty sales experience Skill Sets Sales experience in a beauty retail setting (Sephora experience preferred) Retail experience and customer service experience Spa experience (optional) or esthetics license Organized and self-motivated Good written and verbal communication Negotiation skills Flexibility Emotional intelligence Prospecting ability Strong sales closing skills Personal Attributes Friendly and outgoing personality Goal-driven Problem-solving
