Our team is growing and we’re looking to hire a pivotal role in our defensive strategy. We are seeking a talented, proactive person to join our dynamic and highly cross functional team.Here are some things you’ll do on the job:Monitor, analyze and respond to incidentsContribute to building and refining SIEM tools, logging and architectureIdentify weaknesses in our logs (where is the story missing)Develop detection models and response automationsHave 3-5+ years of experience in Information Security with focus on incident response, threat hunting, and creating detection signatures.Possess real-world experience with data analysis, modeling, and correlation at scaleWorking knowledge of threat modeling, and attack vectors.Exposure to software development, including GitHub change management, unit testing, pair programming.Python (or any scripting language) experience is preferred.The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits. Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $188,500- $221,800 USDUS employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $169,700 - $199,600 USDCanadian employees (any location): CAD 171,500 - 201,800.We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT.
