The Senior Data Scientist will support our customers' initiatives by developing, maintaining, and analyzing data sets in order to create models and determine potential outcomes. The position is immediately available for qualified candidates with the appropriate clearance.Responsibilities
Technical Duties May Include:Mine and analyze data from databases to drive optimizationAssess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniquesDevelop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data setsCoordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomesDevelop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracyPerform the planning, processing, implementation, and documentation of Data Discovery, Management, Integration, and MiningPerform Modeling and Simulation activities, including, but not limited to linear and nonlinear ModelingProvide Data Analytics Software Tool Support and guidance, including formal and informal trainingResearch and propose the use of tools, techniques, methods, and modelsMaintain and update handbooks, manuals, job aides, dictionaries, and other centralized documentation which contain approved methods, sources, data sets, and techniquesDevelop prototype datasets that integrate data across databasesFollow an agile Analytic Development Life Cycle, to include requirements gathering, transparent development, testing, and peer reviewDesign, develop, and brief analytical reports including ad-hoc, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive tables and visualizationsPay Range: $110,000 - $150,000/Year, DOESkills Required
SQL and PythonTableau and Power-BiEducation
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science is required.A degree in a related field may be considered if 5 or more classes in advanced math and/or computer science have been takenMinimum 6 years experience in the Field of Data Analytics/Data Science, with at least 3 of the 6 years in DoD/ICSecurity Clearance
