$30 per hour ($62,400 annually) plus commission.City Cruises is seeking a Regional Account Manager for our operation in Newport Beach.About You:This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.About the Opportunity:The successful Regional Account Manager will sell events through inside and outside sales and marketing activity. Meet or exceed annual revenue goals. Prepare accurate contracts to ensure successful events.Meet or exceed annual personal sales goal set by the RDOS and VP of SalesDevelop comprehensive knowledge of customer and market needsExecute the sales plan using effective sales techniquesGenerate leads; primarily use telemarketing and networking through current customers for lead generation but may attend trade shows and industry eventsConvert prospects to clients; successfully conduct telephone sales calls to both new and existing customers, and use effective closing techniquesIdentify customer needs and use in-depth product knowledge to prepare winning proposals. Balance Company and customer needs to create win/win situationsConvincingly present proposals over the phone and in person during site inspections and appointmentsSuccessfully up-sell existing clients to higher value itemsHandle objections and solve customer problemsEstablish relationships with associations/business organizations (e.g. Convention & Visitors Bureau) and generate referralsEnsure prompt responses to customer inquiriesEnsure complete and accurate product details are communicated to the operations team to ensure proper execution of product promisedFollow up with customers within 24 hours after the cruise to further develop the account and to:

Work with the Director of Sales to resolve all customer issuesUse Salesforce (CRM software) to effectively plan and manage the activities in the assigned markets and to track productivity of these sales activitiesUse ANCHOR (reservation software) to accurately book ordersMaintain proper personal organization; manage time well, set appropriate work priorities, and maintain accurate recordsWork with Sales Assistant to collect payments; maintain accounts receivable within aging guidelinesAdditional job duties as assigned.Requirements & Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years total sales experience consisting of at least 1 year outbound telephone sales experiencePrefer bachelor’s degree preferably in a discipline related to the work of the positionPrefer hospitality experience but not requiredProficient with Microsoft Office products as well as CRM software.Analytical skills required to identify and exploit selling opportunitiesSells primarily by telephone; must have excellent oral communication skillsProposal writing is required, must communicate effectively in written formEstablish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibilityMust have the ability to persuade and influence peopleMust have proven leadership skillsMust be able to listen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, identify solutions and gain consensus.Satisfactory background checkAbout Us:City Experiences’ passion is to provide amazing experiences on land and water.
