City Experiences, Anchored by Hornblower, is seeking a Regional Sales Account Manager for our City Cruises operations in San Francisco.Base pay of $31.25 hourly with a sales commission plan consisting of an additional $39,000 at the 100% pre-determined sales goal. If sales achievement surpasses the 100% goal, additional compensation may be provided according to the commission plan.About Us:City Experiences’ passion is to provide amazing experiences on land and water. If you’re an enthusiastic team player who thrives in an environment where communication, creativity, and cooperation are encouraged, this may just be the opportunity for you.About the Opportunity:The successful Regional Account Manager will sell group and charter business utilizing inside and outside sales efforts to achieve regional sales goals.About You:Meet or exceed annual personal sales goal set by the RDOS and VP of SalesDevelop comprehensive knowledge of customer and market needsExecute the sales plan using effective sales techniquesGenerate leads through telemarketing, networking, and attendance at trade shows and industry eventsConvert prospects to clients through effective closing techniquesIdentify customer needs and prepare winning proposalsPresent proposals convincingly over the phone and in personUpsell existing clients to higher value itemsHandle objections and solve customer problemsEstablish relationships with associations/business organizationsEnsure prompt responses to customer inquiriesCommunicate product details to the operations team for executionFollow up with customers after the cruise to develop the accountWork with the Director of Sales to resolve customer issuesUse Salesforce (CRM software) to manage activities and track productivityUse ANCHOR (reservation software) to book orders accuratelyMaintain proper personal organization and manage time wellWork with Sales Assistant to collect payments and maintain accounts receivableAdditional job duties as assigned.Requirements & Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years total sales experience, including at least 1 year of outbound telephone sales experiencePrefer bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the positionPrefer hospitality experience but not requiredProficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM softwareAnalytical skills to identify and exploit selling opportunitiesExcellent oral communication skillsProposal writing skills requiredAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsAbility to persuade and influence peopleProven leadership skillsEffective listening and problem-solving skillsThe RESPECT Service System
