The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of litigation matters, supporting our senior attorneys, including strategy, drafting pleadings, discovery, and court appearances.What will you be doing?
Manage all aspects of litigation proceedings, from the initial assessment and advice, through to resolution or trial.Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to develop and execute litigation strategies.Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court documents.Represent the company in court, at hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and agency proceedings.Conduct and manage discovery, including overseeing document collection, review, and production, and conducting fact investigations.Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal and business issues, including risk management and compliance.Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may affect the company's business operations.Develop and deliver training to internal teams on legal matters, such as compliance requirements and changes in law.Is your background a match?
JD from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey.6+ years of litigation experience.Demonstrated experience in managing complex litigation, including commercial and civil litigation.Strong legal research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.High degree of professional ethics and integrity.Ability to handle a large caseload, multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Proven track record as an attorney with a high degree of independent judgment.
