Employment Litigation Associate Attorney
with over two years of employment litigation experience. The ideal candidate will handle various employment law cases and be involved in all phases of litigation, from discovery to trial. The firm offers a collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth, including business development and leadership in complex legal matters.Key Responsibilities:Interview and meet with client representatives to discuss case matters and strategy.Direct interaction with insurance claims representatives, including case assessment, reporting, evaluation, and strategic planning.Manage own case files, including handling all aspects of case management independently.Take and defend fact and expert depositions.Engage, prepare, and manage expert witnesses, including preparing expert disclosures and reports.Oversee and conduct all facets of pre-trial discovery, including large document production and database management.Draft and argue pre-trial motions.Manage first-chair mediation and trial/arbitration experiences (preferred).Collaborate with paralegals and delegate work effectively.Work on schedule and payment claims (preferred).Engage in marketing and business development efforts, including drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations (preferred).Gain immediate client interaction, take depositions, appear in court, and develop business skills.Requirements:Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.2+ years of prior experience defending employment civil litigation cases.Strong work ethic with excellent case management skills.Experience in handling large document productions and managing case databases.Experience with pre-trial discovery and motions.First-chair mediation and/or trial/arbitration experience (preferred).Experience working with insurance claims representatives and expert witnesses.Marketing and business development interest, with experience in drafting legal publications, articles, or presentations (preferred).Skills:Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Competent in using Microsoft Word and Outlook.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under deadlines.Leadership skills, with the ability to delegate work to paralegals and collaborate within a team.Education & Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active Colorado Bar membership.Location:Denver, CO.Benefits:Financial stability and competitive salary.Flexible Time Off and hybrid working schedule.Comprehensive benefits package, with many benefits 100% paid by the firm.Professional work environment with a business-casual dress code.Supportive and respectful culture with onsite training to promote continuous learning.Access to current technology and in-house IT professionals.
