The music ministry of Bethel Grace will glorify God by joining His people in Spirit-filled praise to His Son. To help people know and worship God, we desire a theologically rich ministry drawing upon time-tested and modern musical selections. It will be designed to bring the entire church family together for unified worship. The Music Ministry Director will utilize the God-given talents of our worship leaders to usher congregants into the presence of a holy God with praise and thanksgiving, focusing on the glory of God and the Gospel of Christ.Job Description
Lead music at Sunday AM services personally and with the development of other leaders and praise teams.Collaborate with Senior Pastor and church staff to plan and implement Sunday worship services.Oversee all elements of regular weekly music ministry including song selection, musicians, vocalists, etc.Collaborate with the choir leader to incorporate Sunday choral selections.Coordinate with and support the efforts of the audio visual tech team.Submit complete service information in a timely manner and ensure the accuracy of visual aids created for worship gatherings.Plan and lead holiday worship services (Good Friday, Easter, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve) in collaboration with pastoral staff and selected worship leaders.Maintain a database of songs ensuring legal compliance concerning copyrights and permissions.Provide musical elements of weddings, funerals, and other special occasions as requested and able.Attend weekly staff meetings.Communicate and work effectively with administrative assistants to achieve smoothly implemented, team-coordinated outcomes.QUALIFICATIONSThe Spirit’s gifting to lead people into worship by focusing their attention on God.Christ-like character, pastoral burden, and devotion to God’s Word.Heartfelt agreement with the Bethel Grace Statement of Faith (see website).Doctrinal depth and discernment.Strong vocal/instrumental skills to lead congregational praise.Musical experience with contemporary worship teams & instrumentalists.Relational ability and healthy team-building skills.Ability to accept ministry input, feedback, and evaluation with an attitude of humility and a desire for personal/professional growth.Previous leadership experience.Ability to administer and maintain a budget.Willing to pursue church membership.CHURCH INFORMATIONHighly committed to the centrality of Scripture, the purity of the Gospel, and the majesty of Christ.Seeks to honor God with a plurality of musical styles and instruments.Average Sunday attendance of 120.Affiliated with the Pacific Church Network.Please fill out the questionnaire and send your resume to
