Qualifications of the Controller Role:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership position within the construction or real estate sector.Profound technical proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and control frameworks, with a solid grasp of GAAP principles and regulatory mandates.Demonstrated mastery in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting, with the ability to translate intricate data into actionable insights and strategic suggestions.Proven track record of instigating process enhancements, implementing best practices, and optimizing financial performance in a dynamic and evolving business landscape.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating across departments and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.Strategic mindset coupled with a results-driven approach, alongside a strong commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all endeavors.Experience with ERP systems and financial software applications; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools is desirable.
