Job Description: At Regions, the Technology Asset Management Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing technology assets during their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Regions policies and guidelines. Primary Responsibilities Supports lifecycle management of technology assets from acquisition to disposition/retirement Conducts analysis of technology assets to identify and resolve potential non-compliance and/or policy and process breaches, reducing risk exposure Resolves issues, discrepancies, and anomalies associated with discovery, reporting, and tools Participates in sprint planning with technical and business analysts Serves as a business requirements expert on an agile team, translating business and technical requirements Engages with business partners and stakeholders to define, source, and prioritize requirements for products and programs and ensure alignment with business strategy and customer needs Facilitates user-acceptance training prior to the release of application updates Assists management in onboarding new technology asset management systems and tools Offers advice and/or guidance to less experienced analysts This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology or related field and five (5) years of experience in technology asset management Or High School Diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience in technology asset management Experience analyzing asset management data and generating reports driving decision making Experience managing infrastructure, end-user, and data-center technology asset records Experience tracking technology assets in end-user and hosted environments Preferences Experience using industry technology asset management tools Technology asset management related certifications (e.g. ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro Implementation Specialist, etc.) Skills and Competencies Ability to effectively utilize and implement asset management tools, including automated discovery configuration tools and processes Ability to manage scope, timelines, and budgets Knowledge of applicable hardware, software, and related asset management systems and tools Strong knowledge of applicable compliance requirements Strong knowledge of hardware and/or software life-cycle management Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills Strong work ethic and self-motivation Additional Job Responsibilities As a Senior ServiceNow SAM Pro Implementation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of ServiceNow SAM Pro from scratch Responsibilities will include publisher-specific packs, identifying any SAMP plugins for installation, SaaS integrations, and entitlement uploads for various software publishers. You will also be responsible for reconciling deployment details flowing in from various integrations Help with customization and configuration of ServiceNow SAM Pro to meet specific organizational needs Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SaaS applications with ServiceNow SAM Pro Manage and oversee the entitlement upload process for various software publishers Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation and integrations Software management requires the creation and application of publisher-specific packs and plugins, guiding and providing inputs to teams involved in development. Follow ServiceNow updates and industry best practices to keep software asset management process optimized Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and user guides Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software asset management processes Collaborating with Project team and efforts to take advantage of the ServiceNow SAM pro standard capabilities in their efforts to improve their IT processes Support unit testing of developed solution, in partnership with development team. Drive customer unit and user-acceptance testing requirements. Ensure all SAM Pro jobs are running as expected and create incidents or HI tickets, if required. Pre-Requisites Required Certification: ServiceNow SAM Pro Certification Active is Mandatory Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro end-to-end implementation, integrations, and end-user assistance required Knowledge of Contract and Software license relationships is a plus This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Orlando, FL, Salt Lake City, UT, or Tampa, FL . Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely. Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
