Passion for our mission and vision is required!This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lunar lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will act as the Technical Project Manager for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) efforts for Blue Origin's Blue Moon Pathfinder Lunar Lander spacecraft. This role requires collaboration with internal and external design teams and subcontractors to manage and coordinate construction and developing operational plans and procedures. You will work with a team of engineers to design, acquire, build, test, and certify all the EGSE. You will work directly for the director of Integration and Test for the Pathfinder vehicle to manage and approve requests for EGSE and report to senior leadership where unbought scope and or procurement risks will negatively impact program deliverables.Minimum Qualifications:B.S degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline10+ years of related technical hands-on experience in complex, electrical systems & circuit design, documentation, and fabrication.Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative.Experience designing, testing, troubleshooting, and operating spacecraft EGSE systems.Familiarity with industry test standards such as SMC-S-016Experience with electrical distribution design, hazard classification, load balancing, single-line diagrams, design documentation, construction drawings, construction bid solicitation, contractor selection.Ability to design and understand precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and modeling applications.Recognize and act on opportunities; maintain flexibility to adjust as requirements shift or constraints change.Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Ability to travel as needed to support test planning and execution.Ability to support odd hours and long weeks during test execution.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:PMP Certification or master's degree in an Engineering or Business Management fieldExperience with spacecraft, aircraft, or launch vehicle integration and test systems.Experience designing circuit card assemblies, test cable harnesses, and Electrical/Mechanical packaging.Complex hardware and software system troubleshooting including cause, and corrective action closure.Sub-contract and supplier management experience, including requests for proposal, specification development, and writing statements of work.Experience on NASA programs and human spaceflight programs.Experience leading system-level test campaigns on large spacecraft.Experience with scripting (Python or other scripting language)Experience with software tools such as JAMA, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Creo, and WindchillCompensation Range for:CO applicants is $132,397.13-$185,355.98
