Job Summary:
Encore Management is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage accounting functions for our HOA and Property Management divisions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting and be proficient with Appfolio software, with a strong background in supporting HOA and Property Management companies.Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, GL maintenance, and financial reporting.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Utilize Appfolio software for property management accounting, ensuring proper integration of transactions and reporting.Prepare and present financial reports to internal stakeholders and HOA boards.Ensure compliance with HOA and property management regulations and best practices.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and external parties as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of accounting experience, with specific expertise in HOA and property management.Proficiency in Appfolio software is required.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
