Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced attorney to join their growing practice group in either Portland or Seattle. The position is with a leading Northwest law firm that specializes in complex litigation and corporate law. Renowned for their commitment to excellence and innovation, the partners are seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to provide counsel to and service a prestigious client base that encompasses some of the most established and dynamic businesses and individuals in the country.
We are looking for an attorney with at least four years of experience in defending employers in employment disputes and related matters who is eager to take ownership of projects and cases and advocate in court for client matters. Interested candidates must be admitted to the California state bar with eligibility to waive into or sit for the Washington or Oregon Bar. You will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a collaborative dynamic team with the option to work a fully remote or hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience defending labor and employment mattersAdmitted to California State Bar; willing to sit for or waive into Washington or Oregon state bar.Experience handling representative matters that include discrimination, PAGA, harassment, retaliation, leave interference, and wage and hour claims (preferably representing management).Experience counseling employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Some experience drafting employee employment policies is welcome.Excellent research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, including public speaking.
