As a Software Engineer II at Alkami, you will play a pivotal role in our development initiatives, gaining practical experience while working alongside experienced professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a solid foundation in software engineering, learn from the best in the field, and contribute to projects that make a meaningful impact for our financial institutions.Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and engineering teams to triage and resolve technical issues, identify areas for improvement, and help drive the development of new features and functionality for our products.Provide technical guidance to product stakeholders and champion the successful use of our products.Document technical concepts and solutions in the knowledge base to support key stakeholders.Create and conduct code and design reviews.Write clean and testable code and test for quality output.Eagerly learn new skills, technologies, and concepts, taking personal initiative to execute on projects.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to software development and cloud native technologies.Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.2+ years of experience developing in a full stack development environment (Desktop and Mobile Web, MidTier Services/WCF/HTTP, and SQL Server Database).Strong technical skills in C# programming, including experience with .NET, Visual Studio, and related tools and frameworks.Experience in debugging and troubleshooting C# code and identifying the root cause for issues.Familiarity with writing testable code and automated code testing frameworks.Knowledge of software development tools such as IDEs, version control systems, and build tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as work well with others.Desired Skills:
Experience development with Vue.js framework, HTML, and CSS.Experience working in the FinTech or Financial Services industry.Familiarity with cloud applications (provisioning, hosting, configuring, deploying, logging, etc.).Cool Things to Know:
