Proofpoint is seeking a

Director, Talent Management

to lead our global talent management strategy and execution. This position will report to the VP of Human Resources and will be responsible for developing and executing programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience aligning strategic initiatives and talent strategies in support of business objectives. This includes collaborating with HR teams to implement innovative learning and talent programs which enhance people development and employee engagement, ultimately driving organizational success.Your Day to Day

Develop and lead the global talent management strategy and execution, including talent acquisition, development, engagement, retention, and succession planningPartner with business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop strategies to meet those needsCollaborate with HR business partners to ensure the talent management strategy is aligned with the overall HR strategy and the company's goals and objectivesDevelop and implement programs and initiatives to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talentLead the development and implementation of performance management and career development programsManage the talent review and succession planning processesDevelop and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent management programs and initiativesStay current on industry trends and best practices in talent managementWhat You Bring to the Team

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred10+ years of experience in talent management, including talent acquisition, development, engagement, retention, and succession planningExperience leading a global talent management functionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to influence and collaborate with business leaders at all levelsKnowledge of HR laws and regulationsWhy Proofpoint

Consistent with Proofpoint values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes flexible time off, a robust well-being program that provides for 4 global wellbeing days per year, and a 3-week work from anywhere option.Base Pay Ranges:

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:Base Pay Range: 240,640.00 - 330,880.00 USDCalifornia (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:Base Pay Range: 197,760.00 - 271,920.00 USDAll other cities and states excluding those listed above:Base Pay Range: 177,200.00 - 243,650.00 USDAcknowledgment of Diversity
