We are seeking an experienced CNC CAD Programmer to join our growing team. As a CNC CAD Programmer, you will play a key role in programming and operating CNC machinery for custom millwork projects. You will collaborate with design and production teams to ensure the accurate translation of CAD designs into machine-ready programs, ensuring the highest level of precision and quality.Minimum Requirements
3+ years of CNC programming experience, preferably in the millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking industry.Proficiency with AutoCAD, Mastercam, or similar CAD/CAM software.Understanding of CNC machinery, tools, and woodworking materials.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications.Familiarity with G-code and CNC operations, including setup, tooling, and maintenance.Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is a plus.Responsibilities
Develop, prepare, and optimize CNC programs from CAD drawings using appropriate software (e.g., AutoCAD, Mastercam, or similar).Create accurate G-code for CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing errors or material waste.Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and design specifications to determine the best approach for CNC machining.Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet project specifications.Set up, adjust, and maintain CNC machines as needed to ensure efficient production workflows.Conduct test runs and quality checks to validate CNC programming and adjust as necessary.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CNC programming, machining processes, or equipment.Maintain and update CNC software and tooling as required.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and manufacturing standards throughout the CNC process.Salary and Work Details
