The Credit Coordinator will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient assistance to our internal and external customers, resolving inquiries, addressing concerns, and preventing financial losses.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, investigate, and resolve customer queries on accounts and shipments via e-mail or phoneProvide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfactionHandle administrative duties such as notarizing documents, completing customer satisfactions, license requirements, and following up on returnsMonitor credit limits to ensure customer limits are not exceeded by reviewing Credit HoldsCoordinate with freight carriers to resolve shipping issues and file claims for lost shipmentsWork effectively with sales, returns, and other departments to resolve customer problems and ensure smooth operationsPosting of customer payments, balancing cash, and EFTMaintain assigned accounts to prevent financial lossesAll other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent1+ year of customer service or related experienceAbility to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms, ensuring clear and concise interactions with customersAbility to identify and resolve customer issues and provide appropriate solutions within time limits efficiently and effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAttention to detail and organizational skillsFamiliarity with basic computer software and systemsAnalytical thinking with the ability to implement creative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or related fieldProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of credit management principle
