E thics in how you work and how you think.What’s the Role?As a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, the People Matter(s) Manager promotes collaboration and oversees all HR functions across the organization including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and talent development, using various platforms (Lever, UKG, Navan) in a fast-paced environment. This high-performing professional promotes a culture of open communication, respect, and inclusivity and thrives under pressure, balancing multiple priorities with day-to-day operational tasks, and partnering with leadership to implement HR strategies that support business objectives and organizational growth. Some local travel is required for onboarding and special events as needed.What you’ll do:Provide administrative support, HR training, and education across multiple offices to ensure operational efficiency.Manage all HR systems (HRIS and ATS) and collaborate with executive leadership to identify and implement enhancements and solutions for better utilization across the organization.Develop and manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, using ATS tools (Lever).Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and implement efficient recruiting strategies based on industry standards and organizational needs.Oversee and facilitate all aspects of the onboarding process, including issuing employment offers, negotiating compensation packages, conducting background checks, verifying employment eligibility, and assembling new hire documentation.Ensure accurate review of company benefits and policies while providing guidance on proper system entries to complete all necessary new hire documentation.Collaborate with senior leadership to oversee offboarding activities, ensuring compliance and fostering a smooth and positive employee transition.Manage performance review processes, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and professional development plans.Partner with organization leaders to identify training and development opportunities that support employee growth and retention.Create career development paths and succession plans for key roles within the company.Conduct regular market analyses to align compensation packages with industry standards.Oversee administration of employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with legal partners to develop and update HR policies to meet evolving legal and business needs.Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including wellness programs and team-building activities.Monitor HR trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.Address employment-related inquiries from employees, supervisors, and applicants.What we need from you:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field, or a combination of equivalent work experience and HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR a plus).4+ years of HR experience, including recruitment, policy development, and compliance management.1+ year experience managing or supervising others.Experience managing HR operations across multiple locations (multi-state experience preferred).Advanced knowledge in all areas of HR including employment and labor laws, recruitment and hiring best practices, compensation strategies, HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll software) and Microsoft Office Suite.Must be a quick learner and an agile negotiator.Must possess strong emotional intelligence, active listening skills, patience, compassion, and composure.Ability to identify and proactively solve problems with an open and unbiased mindset to drive results.Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.Strong work ethic with the ability to safeguard confidential information.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of clearly explaining and presenting concepts, engaging audiences with tact and diplomacy at all levels of the organization, as well as with external partners.Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively across the organization.Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to provide actionable insights.Must understand and stay informed about trends, advancements, and best practices in HRIS providers, technology, and the broader HR industry.Compensation:$80,000 - $120,000 a year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
