The Department of Informatics & Engineering Systems at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) invites applications for a non-tenure-track (Open Rank) Lecturer position to teach in its Bachelors/Master’s program. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction in the program, advising students, and participating in scholarship activities serving the college, university, or local community as needed.Minimum Qualifications

To be considered as a lecturer, a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study from an accredited institution is required. A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required to teach graduate-level courses.Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

Capability to teach courses related to Cybersecurity at undergraduate/graduate level.Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.Salary
