Software includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft Office suite/365, CISCO Virtual Private Network, Adobe products, desktop operating systems, and mobile devices.Assists with major projects, minor projects and assigned tasks as deemed necessary.Assuming ownership of all contacts made by logging each into the department’s service ticket tracking system, resolving assigned issues, and monitoring system for completion of issues.Accepting user calls by being logged into the Genesys Cloud software during work hours unless on the floor assisting users.Timely resolution or forwarding of problem calls/tickets to appropriate area for resolution while maintaining ownership.Installing and maintaining computer systems for use by end users including the hardware, software, peripheral equipment, and communications components.Testing and monitoring software, hardware, and peripheral equipment to evaluate use, compatibility, effectiveness, and adequacy of product for user.Assists in maintaining operational procedures, processes, and other technical documentation.Perform other duties as required.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficient in administration of Windows (Windows 10, Windows 11) operating system platforms.Knowledge and experience in the administration, maintenance, and analysis of PC/laptop hardware.Knowledge and experience with Enterprise service ticket systems and tracking user problems.Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Teams.Knowledge and experience working in a Help Desk environment.Knowledge and experience with Active Directory [AD], AD user accounts, and AD group policies.Knowledge and experience supporting users through remote access software or clients.Ability to work independently and as a team member.Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.Ability to comprehend, develop, and interpret technical documentation.Ability to communicate effectively.Strong organizational skills are necessary.Ability to understand and comply with laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.Qualifications:As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.Minimum:Must be available for on-call and overtime as required.Must be available for emergency situations.
