The Senior Vice President of Sales / Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for growing the organization’s service portfolio across the United States. This position will oversee a team of seasoned senior sales professionals and manage the onboarding of new clients, existing client renewal strategies, and initiatives around new product strategies for go-to-market sales.Experience in: Shipping, Trucking, Logistic, and Supply Chain PreferredKey Responsibilities:Maintain and establish a strong understanding of the company's service offerings and capabilities.Create a comprehensive sales strategy and plan driving long-term relationships and success.Identify vertical and industry targets that align with business goals and expertise.Evaluate business plans and implement short- and long-term strategies.Plan, organize, and build the sales and support team competencies necessary to develop sales group.Lead client prospecting and lead generation for the sales organization.Develop and maintain a robust network of contacts.Build influential relationships with multiple contacts with key clients.Build and maintain a strong working relationship with internal Operations, Finance, and solutions teams.Participate and initiate customer visits, and quarterly QBR’s.Be knowledgeable of competitors and industry trends.Develop goals, policies, and procedures for the sales organization.Develop KPIs for sales targets within the sales organization.Perform other position-related duties as specified by management.Management of Sales Force CRM.Required Education and Experience:BA, BS, degree preferred and or higher degree of education.20+ Years Strategic Selling Experience.15-20 plus years of progressive industry experience within Logistics, Supply Chain or Transportation.International sales experience preferred.10+ Years’ experience with SalesForce.Deep experience with solutions-based sales, i.e., Miller Heiman approach.20+ Years of hands-on executive leadership experience.Attributes to Success:Detailed OrientedStrategic thinkerHunter MentalityTechnology SavvyGood Analytical SkillsSeniority level
