Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About the Role:As an essential member of the America’s sourcing team, the Sr. Indirect Sourcing Specialist develops and executes strategic sourcing strategies for professional services along with other operational categories such as R&D, information systems, sales and marketing. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing activities to identify key suppliers and vendors that align with business goals and optimize cost savings, while ensuring exceptional customer service across the organization.
NOTE: This position is hybrid, which will require you to work on-site at least three days a week.Your responsibilities will include:Creating and implementing strategies for sourcing indirect goods and services to align with stakeholder goals, drive cost efficiency and ensure operational effectivenessAnalyzing spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and obtain the best value for customers; monitor market trends and conditions to identify potential risksExecuting end-to-end sourcing events to review requests for proposals or quotes; analyze supplier financials and capabilities to drive supplier selectionNegotiating contracts and service agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing; review existing contracts and initiate renegotiations for renewalsPartnering with BSC’s legal team to execute and manage supplier contracts; review and approve terms to ensure alignment with stakeholder goalsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders to achieve annual cost savings and value contribution targetsManaging supplier performance to resolve inquiries and disputes for internal customersEducating internal stakeholders on BSC’s sourcing and financial policies to improve processesRequired qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in any disciplineMinimum 3 yrs of indirect sourcing experience and supplier relationship managementExperience executing end-to-end sourcing process and contract managementProficient with MS Excel and PowerPointExperience with ERP systems (i.e. SAP and Ariba)Preferred qualifications:Experience working in medical device or similarly regulated industryEffective decision-making and negotiation skills, ability to influence internal and external teamsAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projectsStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with individuals on all levelsStrong critical thinking and analytical skills: process and results-orientedDetail oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities effectivelyRequisition ID:
