Noosa & District Landcare Group Inc. (NDLG) is a highly respected community-based, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable natural resource management and conservation. For over 30 years, we have delivered impactful environmental initiatives across the Noosa and surrounding regions. Our services include large and small scale revegetation projects, weed management, native plant supply, ecological consultancy, and community education and training. The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead NDLG into its next phase of growth and impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organisation and make a tangible difference in environmental outcomes across the broader region. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:

Collaborate with the Advisory Board to develop and implement NDLG's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with our mission and values. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to advance NDLG's mission. Team Leadership:

Inspire and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient resource utilisation, compliance with regulations, and delivery of high-quality programs and projects. Financial Oversight:

Manage the organisation's financial sustainability, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. About You:

You are a strategic thinker and inspiring leader with a proven track record in senior management roles, preferably within the not-for-profit or environmental sectors. Your exceptional communication and advocacy skills enable you to build effective partnerships and engage with diverse stakeholders. You are passionate about making a positive impact on natural resource management and conservation, and you possess the financial acumen necessary to ensure organisational sustainability. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in senior leadership roles, ideally within the not-for-profit or environmental sector. Strong skills in team leadership and development, with the ability to inspire and promote organisational values. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversight. Exceptional communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and build relationships with community members, stakeholders, and partners. Knowledge of environmental management and land management is desirable.
