Role Objectives:
To provide financial, analytical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate analysis and reporting of activities under their control.
Qualifications:
·
A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in accounts payable and general accounting.
·
Experience working with major accounts e.g. Walmart, Target, Amazon preferred.
·
Experience in a similar role within the toy or entertainment industries preferred, but not essential.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
Customer Accounts Set-up and Maintenance
Reconcile open AR to customer AP/AR systems for payment status and/or missing invoices
AR Collections management via phone, email, or mail
Past due receivables weekly status reporting
System processing of customer claims & chargebacks
Sales Credit & Rebills
Review customer chargeback factors and review with sales/ops for areas requiring improvement/focus
Trading Terms (COB) Expense Tracking and accruals
Prepare and distribute COB cash flow reporting
Prepare and reconcile monthly AR related accruals
Assist with Credit Insurance reporting and analytics
Maintain Customer Master with all updates to customer accounts
Assist with and track EDI invoice related issues with support for correction
Assist with sales order credit holds analytics for order processing
Accounts Payable:
Processing of US Non-Stock Purchase Orders for all non-inventory related purchases
Accurately processing all invoices and payments per vendor terms
Reconciling JDE AP Subledger balances to suppliers’ statements
Monthly reconciliations and accruals for various credit card accounts
Analysis of Open POs for pending invoices and commitments (weekly/monthly)
Manage supplier inquiries
Maintenance of Supplier Accounts, including banking verifications and set-up completion requirements/forms
Processing employee expense reimbursement claims
Preparation of month-end AP related accruals and reconciliations
Other Accounting/Finance:
Monthly P&L and BS review of GL accounts/categories
US Price List Maintenance and Distribution
Advanced Pricing validation and system updates
Sales order pricing hold updates and releases
Maintaining online filing systems
Payroll processing via ADP Workforce Now
Benefits and 401k monthly reconciliations
Payroll journal preparation
Inventory and Obsolete stock adjustments
Gross Margin analytics and reporting
12-week Cash Flow forecasting (AR/AP)
Sales Commission statements review
Continuously improve upon relevant internal policies and procedures
Assist with ad hoc inquiries and tasks as needed

Work Hours
8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday
8:30am – 3:00pm, Friday
30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.
Moose also provides flexible working options.
Salary Band
USD $70,000-$75,000
