About the Job Responsible for supporting and facilitating the identification of innovative rewards and recognition approaches and strategies, to optimize and align full-cycle talent based on organization's strategic plan and competitive practices, which responds to changing market demands and needs. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of existing total rewards practices to improve existing programs and recommends changes consistent with total rewards trends and organizational objectives. Maintains strong working relationships at all levels of the organization and fosters collaboration, creative problem solving, and supports workforce planning efforts using best practice strategies.
Responsibilities Supports efficiency of processes, programs and technology resources Identifies and recommends creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans Collaborates in the development and implementation of total rewards strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness Partners with internal and external clients to understand Best Place to Work needs and support the development and implementation of total rewards plans in alignment with objectives and goals Develops and provides insightful analysis of performance metrics dashboard and reports, while driving actions to ensure continuous improvement of strategies, identifying trends and providing data-driven recommendations to enhance programs. Oversees market pricing process, survey participation, including job matching, and monitors salary survey data to provide recommendations to achieve compensation objectives Provides total rewards recommendations by benchmarking best practices, researching industry, employment trends and tracking legislation Assists in the development of communication strategies to educate employees and managers on total rewards policies and programs Assist in managing leave programs, including but not limited to, long term disability, short term disability and FMLA management Assist with planning and administering annual open enrollment period Supports HRIS delivery, implementation and maintenance, in alignment with needs to ensure best practice, efficiency and optimization Oversees special projects as assigned Ensures total rewards programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, regulations and federal, state and local regulations and employment laws Responsible for supporting third party vendor relationships that bring programs to life within the organization Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required; Master's degree preferred Minimum 5 years' progressive work experience in the field; healthcare experience preferred Minimum 5 years' of compensation and benefits experience in a fast-paced environment required Certification through World at Work (CCP or CBP), SHRM or HRCI preferred Previous supervisory, leadership, and/or senior/lead experience required Strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of plan designs required Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, and deadlines with ability to plan, prioritize and regularly improve processes Excellent organization, written, interpersonal, and communication skills; strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively summarize and present complex or unfamiliar information for a variety of audiences, from executives to employees Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS and compensation software required About Kootenai Health
