The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to two Directors in Technology who lead People and Finance Teams. This cross-functional role is responsible for overall department administrative functions such as expense reporting, onboarding, managing calendars, building presentations, and developing culture and employee engagement initiatives. The Administrative Assistant has strong interpersonal skills and is a proactive problem-solvereager to support Teams critical to Southwest's success.

Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX Headquarters facility during business hours.

Work under general supervision and may be assigned general projectsManage small scale department projects and cultural activitiesSupport large event planning for the DepartmentReview department and company news closely and understand them in relationship to their organizationWrite clear and concise responses to incoming email inquiries. Prepare communication on behalf of the Leader when directedEdit and review all written correspondenceSubmit expense reports and process payroll, as neededPrioritize calendars and schedule travel arrangements under direction of Leader(s)Organize and maintain all files, records, and other informationAssist in compiling reportsServe as backup to Sr. Administrative Assistant(s)May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's LeadersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
