The law offices of Marshall Dennehey, a leading defense firm, is seeking a
Network Administrator
for its Philadelphia, PA office.
Position Summary:
The Network Administrator will perform a variety of network and system administration and be an escalation person within the team for support tickets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshoot user connectivity issues whether they are in office or remote.Provide assistance with administration and troubleshooting of the Firm's Wi-Fi and network switches.Administer Active Directory users and groups, service account or specialized account requests while adhering to IT policies and best practices.Support all aspects of On Prem and Azure Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.Provide assistance with various IT projects and initiatives including assisting with physical office moves.Administer the software toolsets to perform backups and auditing of Active Directory, including the responsibility for running audit reports.Administer and support the management software for deploying scripts to workstations.Provide support for E-mail administrative duties including mailbox creation and rights assignments. Also, troubleshoot advanced Outlook client issues.Participate in monthly server patching, working with a team of peers to patch, reboot and check services on all servers. Also, assist with patch deployment to Windows servers.Administer web security client access requests.Assist Network Engineers with hardware setup, configuration and installation. Support remote office server rooms and provide assistance in data centers.Assist with physical and virtual Windows server builds.Perform other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to create excellent and thorough documentation.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Understanding of networking infrastructure.Proficient with Microsoft server products and related services.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in IT or related experience.Minimum three years experience with LAN and WAN technologies, including network operating systems, topologies, and protocols.A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications preferred.Experience working in Legal environment preferred.
