Network Administrator (Intermediate-Level)
to join our team in support of the US Army's Network Enterprise Center at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Must be a US Citizen Secret Clearance required Non-remote (relocation incentive available) As a
Network Administrator (Intermediate-Level)
you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information assets. Job Responsibilities:
Provide Tier II-III network/desktop support. Troubleshoot network connectivity problems, including monitoring the network and servers for problems, diagnosing problems, and taking the appropriate corrective measures to ensure an expedient resolution. Provide support to electronic messaging, software development and maintenance, database support, automation training, administration and policy support, network support, and COOP development. Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems. Experience with Juniper, Cisco and Aruba networking equipment. Collect and review network utilization data for capacity and planning purposes. Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans. Interface with vendors for procurement & maintenance of all IT infrastructures. Support the development and delivery of training sessions to ensure staff understand network resources. Qualifications
US Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE equivalent or higher). Four (4+) years of IT experience, preferably within a networking environment. Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment. Baseline Certification is required within 6 months of hire. Preferred:
Active secret clearance. BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA-Junos) or equivalent. Microsoft environment certificate for Windows 10, Windows 11, or MS 365 Endpoint. Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, iPhone, and remote desktop (Citrix). Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems. Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Information
This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next 4-6 weeks, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
