About This Role:

As the IT Asset Manager, your role will be critical in managing and optimizing Crusoe's IT assets to ensure they are effectively tracked, maintained, and utilized. You will be responsible for leading the asset lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning, ensuring compliance, and optimizing costs. Your success will be measured by improving asset visibility, reducing costs, and ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and vendors.

Performance Objectives:

Establish an IT asset tracking system:

Own and operate asset tracking. Ensure accuracy of data, promptness of new data entry, completeness of the database, improvements to the process or system, additions for controls and governance, and accountability to stakeholders.Own the end-to-end IT Asset Lifecycle Management process:

You will take full ownership of managing the entire asset lifecycle, including working with vendors and supply chain for sourcing and quotes, overseeing the requisition process in the ERP system, navigating approval chains, and managing receiving, inventory, shipping, and logistics. Additionally, you will handle asset assignment and allocation, reclaim assets from users upon termination, manage waste, implement vendor buy-back programs, and collaborate with auditors and accounting to report on lost or stolen assets. Success will be measured by reducing asset waste, optimizing vendor management, and eliminating unnecessary purchases or redundanciesOptimize software asset management:

Ensure cost-effective use of SaaS software by minimizing excess subscriptions while maintaining necessary access and enablement for the user base. Collaborate with the Service Desk to perform regular audits and reclaim licenses from inactive accounts.Manage software agreements:

Work closely with the IT Director and other stakeholders to oversee software agreement renewals, restructurings (e.g., upgrades, true-ups), and negotiate terms as needed.Vendor management:

Collaborate with Supply Chain and Legal teams to manage vendor agreements, including NDAs, mNDAs, MSAs, and terms and conditions.ERP and vendor setup:

Partner with Accounting to onboard approved vendors into ERP systems and play a key role in the approval chain for procurement and receiving-related business operations.Procurement support:

Facilitate the procurement request process, stepping in as needed to assist users and stakeholders in procurement activities.Reporting and analytics:

Provide expert-level reporting and analytical insights, ensuring comprehensive oversight of all relevant aspects of the role.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT asset management with overall

company objectives:

Work closely with the IT, finance, and operations teams to ensure that asset management aligns with Crusoe's broader business goals. Success will be demonstrated by the seamless integration of asset management into company-wide strategies.Lead the decommissioning of obsolete or redundant IT assets efficiently:

Ensure that IT assets that have reached the end of their lifecycle are properly decommissioned or recycled, in line with environmental and regulatory standards. Success will be determined by your ability to minimize the impact on operations while disposing of assets responsibly.Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.Experience:

5+ years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or a related field.Technical Skills:

Experience with IT asset management software and tools, knowledge of licensing compliance, and familiarity with procurement processes.Financial Acumen:

Ability to manage budgets, reduce costs, and maximize the value of IT assets.Compliance:

Strong understanding of software license agreements and the ability to manage audits and ensure compliance.Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with remote and distributed teams.Familiarity with IT asset management tools such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, or Flexera.Knowledge of sustainability best practices related to IT asset management.Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors.Role is 5 days a week in the office as we scale in 2025Benefits:

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of $110,000 - $120,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
