RPO - Application Support Engineer

*This role is hybrid onsite, 2x days per week in downtown Chicago, IL*

The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for support and maintenance of 4-5 banking applications both on-prem and Azure hosted in a Windows environment. The applications include an account payables (Fiserv) application, loan collateral application, signature card application, and 1-2 new onboarded applications.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5+ years of experience in an application support role, with 1+ years of application support experience in banking. Strong understanding of banking applications and systems (such as account payables apps, Fiserv applications, loan applications, wire/card/ACH apps, etc.) Experience troubleshooting, performing remediation, patches, installs, etc. to applications. Experience with using ITIL Change, Incident and Problem management processes and coordinating production support needs. Experience documenting application deficiencies, deviations, application flow diagrams, SCM plans, etc. Familiarity with Azure cloud/Azure hosted applications. General understanding of networking concepts, and Privileged Access Management/Privileged Identity Management concepts. Understanding of regulatory projects and validating/submitting responses to requests for information from audits. Experience with ADO and ServiceNow (or similar) for tickets, backlog, and incidents.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

SQL query writing experience. Experience supporting applications in migration to cloud/Azure. File integration experience.
