The Manager, Financial Systems will be responsible for extensive business analysis support of Starr Companies Corporate Finance applications. The Candidate will report to the AVP, Corporate Finance Platforms and work closely with other system managers on two major initiatives: 1) ongoing maintenance, security administration, and development of Starr's existing ERP, treasury, and finance workflow platforms and 2) functional support as required for all phases in the Starr 2025 Workday Release 1 initiative. Candidate should be well versed in the waterfall SDLC as well as Agile methodologies as both will be used throughout the Workday program. More specifically, the candidate will interact with stakeholders at many levels of the organization, from analysts to senior management across multiple departments, as part of the Workday program initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and communicate risks & issues, and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications for the Workday initiative. Develop expertise in the functionality, operation and integration points of the Workday application. Work with the Test Manager and Technical Lead(s) to identify Epics and Features for Roadmap items. Work with Test Manager, Stakeholders and Business SMEs to document process flows for functional improvements and enhancements. Work with Business SME's during refinement meetings to create user stories with clear acceptance criteria/ or author business requirements. Assist in the development of test scenarios, test execution and test results validation and support UAT testing. Assist in the development of training materials. Skills/Experience Required:

Minimum 1-2 years' experience in working with Agile / Scrum teams for writing user stories and iterative development (sprints). Minimum 1-2 years' experience in working with Waterfall/SDLC project methodology. Minimum 5-7 years' experience as a business analyst, IT business systems analyst, insurance data analyst or similar role in the Commercial P&C industry. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-motivation and prioritization of tasks & actions to hit deadlines according to business priorities. Proficient in the use of MS Office products. Able and willing to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$105,000.
