Location: Pontiac, MI 48341

Pay Rate: $75000.00-80000.00

Shift: 1st shift

Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, high-level relationships with global OEMs, including the Big 3, European, and Asian car makers. This role involves developing new business opportunities, overseeing commercial activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maximizing company profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Monitor volume release information and communicate effectively within the organization. Create and manage invoices, resolve commercial disputes, and ensure timely payments. Oversee commercial issues, including pricing, volume, and part number tracking. Work closely with customer teams to resolve commercial issues and optimize costs. Interact with customers through supplier portals. Review customer contracts and drive resolution on commercial issues. Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and quotes. Effectively communicate customer requests and requirements throughout the company. Maintain accurate and complete customer account information. Occasional travel may be required.

Business Development:

Develop and implement a strategic business development and sales plan. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities. Build and maintain high-level relationships with customer contacts at various levels. Negotiate prices to maximize company profit. Maintain price tracking documents for customer programs and part numbers. Ensure timely responses to customer requests for quotes. Effectively communicate customer requests and requirements throughout the company. Contribute to improving overall company profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management. Proven track record of success in OEM sales, particularly with FCA, GM, Ford, Volkswagen, or Honda. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
