Description Job Summary Contribute to the improvement of the overall customer experience to generate satisfaction and customer loyalty. Due to the uniqueness and complexity of the product lines, this role is not territory or account specific and is tasked with specialized product and process knowledge and factory relationship management. Provide product support and order management primarily for, but not limited to, Flow and Instrumentation Business Units. Support coverage includes all of the Sales teams, specifically working with Application Engineers and Account Managers for customer support or working directly with end users when required. Select and source solutions to help customers achieve their plant operational, performance, and financial goals. Professional communication and sales training are required as this role will be directly interfacing with the customer throughout the sales process including quotation and closing the sale. Tasks include processing orders, proactive client and coworker communication, and documentation. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Actively support Flow and Instrumentation product lines with basic technical knowledge, vendor relationship management, and internal communications. Manage the complete order fulfillment cycle for assigned product lines including order processing and administration, product assembly, shipment, invoicing, and payment. Drive sales growth within assigned product lines including qualifying customers, creating quotes and manage customer expectations. Work in conjunction with the Sales teams (Application Engineers, Account Managers, Business Unit Leaders, etc.) to grow sales and meet bookings goals. As part of the sales process, initiate contact; gain agreement to next steps in process; gain access to decision makers; quote costs/present solution options; provide timely updates on orders or, respond to other client needs/requests. Adhere to Control Southern's Service Level Doctrine. Aggressively manage competing responsibilities to maximize time available time to make calls and complete other duties. Maintain a proficient understanding of our business system, including the ability to investigate problems and suggest creative solutions. Follow up with responsible parties on open orders and move to closure Provide required information to support customer invoices (timesheets, receipts, etc.)Working with the Manager, define and successfully complete learning activities designed to seek and grow knowledge of products, the industry segment, competition, sales skills, and the corporate processes and procedures. This acquired knowledge is to be integrated and consistently demonstrated in the daily execution of assigned duties and tasks. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing as necessary. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years proven relevant industry experience. A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent from four-year College; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mastery of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Outlook and Word). Working knowledge of CRM programs (i.e. Salesforce) preferable. Ability to learn and master new software programs as required. Effective interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills required.
