THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA. CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN OR AROUND THE CHARLOTTE AREA AND BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO THE CHARLOTTE OFFICE MONDAY-FRIDAY. Overview: Middleton Meyers, a privately held real estate firm, is looking for a talented Real Estate Investment Analyst to perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for multifamily and single-family acquisition opportunities as well as asset management duties for a 984-unit multifamily portfolio. The Investment Analyst will be part of a growing team and will report directly to the Investment Associate. The Investment Analyst will have exposure to the full life cycle of real estate assets from acquisition to disposition. What You'll Do: Acquisitions/Finance - Create and update detailed financial analyses in Excel for new acquisitions and existing assets in the company's portfolio Closing - Provide loan closing coordination, including collecting due diligence items, ordering third party reports, and coordinating with all parties. Packaging - Assist with preparing debt & equity investment packages in compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements. These reports include analysis of the property, underwriting, valuation, location, market, leases/rent roll, photographs, aerials, etc. Market Research - Prepare market research to facilitate investment decisions - gathering site, neighborhood and city data including demographics, sales and rent comparables, absorption studies and occupancy studies Due Diligence - Comprehensive due diligence responsibilities on new acquisitions, new developments and new loans - from sourcing to closing Portfolio Analysis - Perform regular analysis of the company's existing portfolio of properties - provide reports and recommendations to the leadership team Report Analysis- Run and review, and analyze reports for delivery to lenders and investors What You'll Need: Undergraduate degree required 1 Years of Residential Real Estate financial analysis experience is required Proven analytical skills and problem solving abilities Demonstrated interest in the real estate/investment space Superior focus and attention to detail Strong quantitative and qualitative skills Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact successfully across various teams Understanding of private equity, investment risk and real estate investments Strong organizational skills and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment The Perks: The ability to work for a 2024/2025 Great Place to Work certified company Competitive compensation packages Medical, Dental, Vision insurance benefits 401(k) with up to 4% employer match Paid time off accrued bi-weekly Birthday off (paid) after 1 year of service Outro: Middleton Meyers is a fully integrated multifamily services provider.
