About the Company: Our client is a growing private equity firm with a current AUM of $300m specializing in multifamily and hospitality assets. Based in Miami, FL, the firm is dedicated to acquiring, managing, and enhancing high-potential real estate investments in sought-after locations. About the Role: The Real Estate Analyst will play an integral role within the firm’s investment team, providing critical support across both acquisitions and asset management functions. This individual will engage in rigorous financial analysis, conduct market research, and aid in strategic decision-making to enhance the value of the firm’s portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical skill set, a solid understanding of real estate finance, and a passion for multifamily and hospitality assets. Responsibilities: Acquisitions Analysis Perform detailed financial modeling to support the evaluation and underwriting of potential multifamily and hospitality acquisitions. Conduct market research to assess and identify investment opportunities in high-growth markets. Assist in due diligence efforts, including property tours, analysis of financial statements, and review of relevant documents. Prepare investment committee presentations and pitch materials that clearly articulate key assumptions, value propositions, and risk factors. Asset Management Analysis Monitor asset performance by tracking financial and operational metrics, conducting variance analysis, and updating financial models regularly. Collaborate with property management and operations teams to optimize asset performance and execute business plans. Prepare quarterly and annual asset-level reports, highlighting performance trends and recommending strategies to enhance asset value. Analyze exit strategies, return metrics, and capital improvement projects to support value-add initiatives and dispositions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field. 1-5 years of experience in real estate financial analysis, preferably with a focus on multifamily or hospitality assets. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, with experience using Argus and/or other real estate valuation software. Knowledge of market research methodologies and sources, along with the ability to interpret data and market trends. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in crafting investment presentations and reports. Fluent Spanish is helpful but not required.
