ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES Talent Acquisition, Onboarding Conduct I-9 verifications, regularly audit for accuracy and compliance; Oversee the 90-day performance management process; Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development; Compliance Prepare, review, audit and/or process HR related information, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment law, internal process and program requirements; Maintain strict confidentiality of client, company, and personnel information; Keep up-to-date with employment laws and best practices, and communicate these to management regularly; Data Analysis and Reporting Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives; Prepare and present reports on HR activities, compliance, and key performance indicators to senior leadership; Identify trends and recommend proactive measures to address potential HR issues; Benefits and Leave Administration Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health plans, life insurance plans, short term disability plans and the 401(k) plan; Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution; Participate in interactive discussions with employees in compliance with ADA and support the Workers Compensation Program; Administer, track and coordinate all FMLA and/or leaves of absences; HR Operations Assist the HR Operations team with the day-to-day HR operations; Create and ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures; Process verification of employment requests, state-specific claim forms and unemployment insurance claims; Effectively communicate to employees on various HR matters; Aid HR department in implementing new policies and procedures; Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs; Serve as an HR trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related issues; Oversee routine to complex employee relations issues; Other Duties as Assigned Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned; REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or another related field in business administration Minimum of 3 years of relevant human resources experience Strong knowledge of HR operations and administration including recruiting and payroll Strong knowledge of HR-related state and federal regulations – Multiple States preferred Strong knowledge of various benefit programs Strong proficiency using software programs such as MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Strong proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter WORK ENVIRONMENT Regular professional, office business setting SALARY RANGE FOR POSITION The anticipated starting pay range of this position, which is to be located in Cerritos, CA is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 base salary per year based on years of experience.
